Attention Diamond Creek Families!

It's been an exciting start of a new school year.  Please read thru our Newsletters and announcements throughout the school year here on our Blog.



SAVE THE DATE!

Diamond Creek’s 14th Annual Walk-A-Thon will be held on Thursday, September 13th!
9:30 – 11:30

The Walk-A-Thon is our first major fundraiser of the year.   We need as many volunteers as we can get, so please check out our Sign-Up Genius for all the volunteer opportunities available.

99 Pledges is back this year! Make pledge requests and collection easy by creating a 99 Pledges page for your child today! The link to your child’s pledge page can be sent to family and friends, near and far! Even better: payments can be made directly on your child’s page…no cash or checks to collect! 

More information and our donation envelopes will be coming home with your child at the end of this week!




Our first PTC Meeting of the school year is this week!

Where:  DC Library
When: Thursday, Aug. 24th
Time:  7pm

Pizza and child care for school-aged kids will be provided.  All DC parents are welcome.  Come hear what the PTC has planned for your kids this school year.

Parents...we also have an open position for our Art Docent.  Please contact Thomesina if you are interested or looking for more information.

8/23 - PTC General Board Meeting - ALL parents welcome.  7pm in the school library.  Pizza will be provided as well as child care for school aged kids.
9/5 - Last day to order Spiritwear for Fall Order
9/13 - Walk-a-Thon from 9:30-11:30am
9/19 - Dine & Donate at California Pizza Kitchen
10/12 - Fall Festival
10/17 - Dine & Donate at Lucille's

We are putting in our order for our Fall purchase of Spiritwear in soon!  Last day to get your order forms in to purchase Summer/Fall items is Sept. 5th.  You can pick up your order forms in the School Office.  They need to be filled out completely and returned with a check or exact cash.  Once the items are in, they will be distributed to your child's class for delivery.  We will have a Spring Order as well in February.  Any questions, please contact Jenny Chance at spiritwear@diamondcreekptc.com

Walk/Bike to School
Our Walk/Bike to School Program will be back up and running soon.  If your child already has a shoe tag...keep them!  They can use them every year.

We are in need of volunteers for the Safe Routes School program.  If you are interested in helping before school, please email Jenny Chance at spiritwear@diamondcreekptc.com
